Our Youth Ambassadors had a wonderful time visiting the State Capitol for the NM Legislative Session today. Thank you to Representative Gail Chasey for introducing our group on the House floor. Also, thank you to Veronica Krupnick, who currently serves as a Leadership Analyst for the House, specializing in bills concerning Child Welfare, who gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of the House of Representatives side of the Capitol and made us feel right at home. While here, we also stopped in to say hello to Senator Michael Padilla, who uses his own lived experience in foster care to inform the caring advocacy and policy decision-making that affects youth in foster care.
